Why farmers plant NikTech

Soil-free coco peat propagation

Seedlings are raised in sterile coco peat trays, not open soil — cleaner roots, fewer soil-borne diseases, less transplant shock.

Certified hybrid varieties

We propagate certified F1 hybrid seed — Gloria, Zara, Ansal, Superbell, Kanga and more — bred for vigour and yield.

Quality inspection before dispatch

Every tray is checked for root development, uniform growth, and pest- and disease-free status before it leaves the nursery.

Well-hardened, transplant-ready

Plants are hardened off before collection so they establish fast and survive the move to your farm.

Agronomy support

Seedlings propagation and agronomy is what we do — we advise on spacing, timing, and crop care from planting to harvest.

Nationwide delivery

From Kisumu to Nairobi — send your location and we deliver healthy, well-rooted seedlings to your doorstep.

From one nursery in Makairo to farms across Kenya

NikTech Seedlings was born out of a passion to transform farming in Kenya. What started in Makairo village, West Mugirango, Nyamira County, has grown into a network of greenhouses propagating millions of vegetable seedlings — and a second branch at Masimba in Kisii County, opened in 2026.

Founder Nick Otiso built the nursery on a simple conviction: every great harvest starts with a great seedling. By raising certified hybrids in soil-free coco peat and checking every tray before dispatch, NikTech has become a trusted supplier to farmers across the country — and an employer of more than twenty young people from the community.

Every tray that leaves our nursery carries more than young plants — it carries a farmer’s hope, a family’s investment, and tomorrow’s harvest.

The people behind the trays

NikTech is 20+ young people across two counties — these are the ones you’ll meet first: the voice on the phone, the hands on the trays, and the coordinator at your nearest branch.
